Design

Once our design team has gathered all relevant information about your project, file generation begins. We use CAD programs, drafting software, hand calipers, 3D scanners, and other tools to translate your idea into a digital format. We provide updates during the design process to keep you informed about progress and ensure things are progressing as you expected.

Iterate

After completing the file generation of your invention we send it to you for review. We use an online 3D viewing portal as well as images and test prints to ensure you have all of the resources needed for an in-depth review. We rely on collaboration and communication with each client to validate their project before moving onto further revisions or production. Each project has varying complexity and each order can require several revision cycles to ensure client satisfaction.

Produce

We offer in-house prototyping services including 3D printing components, incorporating existing hardware, and even low volume silicone casting. At this point you may wish to send your files off to be injection molded, milled or manufactured by a different method. We’re able to export filetypes compatible with all manufacturing techniques to facilitate the volume and type of production that you need. We’re thrilled to see our clients’ products appear for sale on websites, used in research, and sold in stores.

Computer-Aided Design (CAD) Fusion 360 Services

CAD software is used to generate, modify, or revise designs. These files can be 3D printed, injection molded, milled, or used for mechanical and thermal stress analysis. Our designers work closely with our clients to understand the scopes of their projects. We use our design services to recreate components, modify existing files or parts, and fine-tune final-stage projects by adjusting tolerances, geometries, and other features for optimal performance.

2D Design and Rendering

Our CAD software also allows us to generate 2D engineering and patent sketches as well as generate high-quality renders. Patent sketches can be provided for the individual inventor, and renders and drawings can be used for marketing and presentation materials. Other use cases include converting 3D files to 2D drawings and vice versa.

3D Sculpting

3D sculpting or soft modeling can be used for character design, ergonomics optimization, and another organic modeling. Our software allows us to combine smooth organic contours with precise geometric shapes. These modelling services can create digital models, 3D printed figures, and even silicone molding and material casting.

3D Scanning

3D Scanning is used to digitize a physical object for the purpose of archiving, replicating, modifying, and further processing. Our 3D scanners achieve high accuracy files that are compatible with all 3D modelling software.

I first have to process your model in our software with our settings to determine your project's cost. I’ll need your file(s) for an accurate quote,

My Default settings are:

  • layer height: .3 mm (with adaptive layer height)

  • 3 Walls

  • 3 Shells for top/bottom

  • 15% Gyroid infill

  • Supports where needed.

If you want more walls or other changes, include those notes in the special instructions. If you need an alternate material, such as TPU, we can discuss this as needed.

All printed products are made with PETG, the same substance that most water bottles are made of. This means that our products are heat resistant, UV stable, and unlike PLA products, unlikely to deform in a hot car.I’d be honored to work with you on your next project.
